With the announce of the new LG G2, we are giving a quick comparison of LG G2 VS Samsung Galaxy S6. The LG G2 is one powerful phone with some nifty features out of the box and optimizing the rear of the phone for more purposes. We will take a look at Specs, Features and some features.
LG G2 VS Samsung Galaxy S6 : Display, Operating System and Interface
The LG G2 comes with a 5.2 inch 1080p IPS display, with 423ppi display and comes with LG’s own UI, which is similar to the stock UI of Android, this makes it snappier and clean. But the downside is the fact that some features will be missed in a stock Android UI, but LG did make sure that the user will get the best experience ever. Double tap(knockOn) to unlock the touchscreen and that’s it, that will be the only thing other than some upgrades in the stock Android UI. LG G2 runs Android 4.2.2 JellyBean which is not a surprise as most phones released these days comes with JellyBean out of the box. We expected Android 4.3, but so far so good as they say, there is no lag whatsoever. The Samsung Galaxy S6 will come with a 6.0inch FULL HD SUPER AMOLED, 3200x1800p display at 550ppi with TouchWiz UI,floating widgets and other halo style stuff. This makes it far better than LG G2’s interface, plus the Galaxy S6 will come with Android 6.0 Milkshake which will make it much more snappier. On top of all this, Samsung will stuff the device with lots of features as well.
LG G2 VS Samsung Galaxy S6 : Hardware, Camera and Conclusion
The biggest advantage with the LG G2 is the fact that it optimized the rear of the device, adding a volume control and shutter release button. Although something like this is unsure in Galaxy S6, Samsung will cook up something in the mean time. LG G2 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU clocked at 2.2GHz, making it a very powerful device. This is helped along with 2GB of RAM, making the device function much more smoother. The Samsung Galaxy S6 on the other hand will come with Hex Core Exynos chipset and a Qualcomm Variant as well. The 13 Megapixel shooter on the LG G2 comes with a bevy of features including Optical Image Stabilization, and we expect the same with Galaxy S6. The Galaxy S6 will come with a 17 Megapixel camera with a larger sensor and 4K capabilities which we miss in the LG G2.
We cannot conclude anything from these as we only have quick references for both the phones, all we can say is LG G2 VS Samsung Galaxy S6 comparison ends in a tie.
